Fun, age appropriate music theory is at the root of everything we do.  You’ve heard the saying “Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime.” Well, you can teach a child to play a song, and they willknow how to play that song. But if you teach a child how to read and write music, you will feed them a lifelong love of music no matterwhat instrument they choose.  This fundamental difference, teaching a child to read and write music first, is what sets New England Music Academy (NEMA) apart from other music education choices. You won’t find our unique curriculum or our focus on music theory anywhere else in Central Massachusetts. These are not your typical music lessons. At NEMA, fun, age appropriate music literacy is at the core of every program. Toddlers usekeyboards, preschoolers learn theory, kindergarteners are composing and our graduates learn relative minors, inverted triads, transposing and improvisation. By giving you child early exposure to the fundamentals of music theory in a fun, fast paced program, you aregiving them the key for success in music and in life.Offering: toddler, preschool, group and private lessons. All ages, all levels.FREE CLASSES: January 20th and 21st- RSVP and we'll save you a seat. For more information, please visit our website: http://www.nemusicacademy.com/ or call 508-898-3888
