Welcome

On behalf of the Westborough Newcomers Club, we would like to welcome you to our town! We are both a social and civic club open to all residents of Westborough, MA (regardless of how long you've lived here). We hope that you will enjoy it here as much as we do! Westborough is a growing community, and we would like to help you feel that this is "home". We look forward to meeting you and helping you out in any way that we can.Established in 1717, Westborough was the 100th town in Massachusetts. Westborough has grown from a settlement of orchards and dairies into a dynamic community and a healthy mix of residences, wooded trails, and industry. We are located 12 miles east of Worcester and 29 miles west of Boston. The commuter rail station provides access to both Worcester and Boston.Community ContributionEach year, the Westborough Newcomers Club is proud to give back to the community. While we hope that our members will all take part in some aspect of our civic efforts throughout the year, there is no requirement to do so. The money we raise for our "Community Giving Fund" is used to support organizations within Westborough. Thousands of dollars have been donated to charities such as the Westborough Education Foundation and In Your Shoes. We are also happy to be able to provide the NE Aquarium Pass (available at the library) and to support the Westborough Food Pantry and Westborough Little League. We've had a long history of sponsoring needy families during the holiday season as well.
