Miss Tanya's Family of Nursery Schools

At Miss Tanya’s Family of Nursery Schools, our mission is to help children develop a sense of joy, wonder and curiosity about learning. Children explore, experiment and experience centers available in our classrooms as well as through outdoor play on our interactive playground.

Our developmentally appropriate curriculum is based on the natural growth and development of each child. We address the needs of the whole child including social, emotional, cognitive and physical growth. Our teachers respect the uniqueness of each child and work with them to foster a sense of self -worth.

We focus carefully on the children as they play, observing them and listening to their questions. We then work with the children, guiding them as they explore and discover. The result is an exciting, dynamic way of learning that gives children confidence in the importance of their ideas.

The children experience in house field trips including the Fire Department, MA Wildlife, dental hygienist visit as well as off-site field trips including visits to the Apple Orchard, Police Station, Post Office, and Fire Department. We believe parent involvement is a valuable part of the school experience. Parents are encouraged to visit their child’s classroom, be a “mystery reader” or attend our music classes. We also have many family events throughout the year.
